On 14 week
We recorded our talks on video!
We discuss on game shut down policy and abortion.
First, I will talk about my experience on game.
When I was an elementary school student, I was in Tomb raider and Tarzan game. After school, me and my friend were rushing out to my home and play the game. It was so thrilling and addicting.
When I turn a middle school student, I fell in love with Maple story and Sims. I played a game at the middle of night. I want to stop playing but I cannot because it was so fun. I need help. I cannot sleep enough so I always sleepy on my daytime. Therefore I think shut down policy is very helpful to teenager who needs help.
Second, I bring a topic about abortion.
Abortion is very debatable issue in Korean and others as well. Basically, Abortion is illegal in Korea but according to a research in 2014, there are 350,000 abortions had happened. This is quite big figure. So I want to discuss on this issue with my classmate.
I am a pro-choice person. If I were a pregnant unwanted, I want an abortion safely and legally. And I think women have to get their right to choice their body. And a baby is precious life so they should come out to the world very wanted and loved to live their life happily.
On 11th week
On 11th week, we share our idea on state-written text book.
I cannot say anything in class but basically I hate spy and what I hate more is someone who is South Korean but disturb social discipline like of the united progressive party. They egg people on fight each other.
I do not want too right side text book. I want fairness one written by authors who has public confidence to give right information to the next generation.
On 10th week
On 10 week, we talked about Muk-bang(eating broadcasting).
I never seen internet broadcasting 먹방 before, but sometimes I have seen TV show like of cooking and eating program. It was interesting. When I see that kind of TV show, I wonder what taste that food and want to eat the same food.
A research shows that small noise ease people’s mind that is why many people see the muk-bang, yummy sound. Furthermore, one person household is getting bigger, people feel loneness. They do not want to feel loneness so they turn on TV and watch them to feel like someone is around them.
On 4th week
I put my homework back for a long time.
At the end of this semester, I decide to do it at one go! Cannot delay anymore. :)
So, I would like to write on China’s military parade.
If I were a citizen of China, I would feel proud of my country because the parade was so huge and well made. On the other hand, that parade made me uncomfortable as well. As a citizen of Korea, considering our situation, I worry about Korea’s situation. Meanwhile, we had adjusted balance of power between the U.S and China. As President Park went the parade, we could expect the economy benefit from China. (China is our biggest trade partner) The U.S., however, may not like this situation. I hope we find appropriate position.

On 7th weeks
On 7th week, we disscussed on gun contral and why this happended so often.
Shooting have taken place so often these days. Somehow, this has become a routine.
We need to introduce a tougher gun control system to prevent any further gun shooting.
The U.S., however, it is difficult to make a change.
Because gun company contribute to government with huge amount of money.
I am a person who know this truth at the previous class.
Then, the politician never give up the connection with gun company.
Losing money means losing power.
So the regulation of law on gun control is just a mere display.
Citizen can do nothing but careful themselves.
For midterm test
Put in a Trap-Neuter-Return program to street cat.
These days we hear more frequently about people going to court due to conflicts over street cats.
Recently, there is an accident related to street cat. While the cat mom was found to have been killed for reasons having nothing to do with stray cats, her death nevertheless highlighted the escalating tension between cat moms and residents.
A cat mom refers to a person who provides food to stray cats. They say there is nothing wrong with looking after alley cats. They even argue that feeding them contributes to keeping the neighborhood clean, as no trash bags would be dug into by hungry cats. But it is also problematic to let them proliferate without taking action.
Seoul alone is believed to have more than 250,000 street cats.
I think that the most effective method to stabilize stray cat populations is known to be the Trap-Neuter-Return program, which involves humanely trapping stray cats and having them spayed or neutered before returning them to their outdoor home.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government launched a TNR program in 2008, leaving its implementation to the 25 ward offices. The Gangdong District ward office has been operating the TNR program successfully. The office set up community cat feeding stations as part of the program and managed to stabilize the feline population in the district.
The problem with feeding stations is that it takes money to operate them. Neutering also costs more than 100,000 won ($88) per cat. This is one reason other ward offices have difficulty maintaining the TNR program. But if conflicts over stray cats worsen, it would be worth the expense.
